Here is an insanely delicious and sexy dessert, reminescent of a crunchy, gooey cherry ripe, but without the heaviness of typical nut-based raw desserts, and definitely without all the unhealthy refined fats and sugars! For dinner tonight I was really craving nuts and sweetness, but I didn’t want to sit down and scoff an expensive and heavy “fix hunger NOW” meal of nuts and dried fruits as I’ve done in the past! So I decided to incorporate what I was craving into a healthy salad and voila.. it was delicious, nutritious and satisfying whilst still giving me the crunchy texture and sweet flavour I desired.

This recipe from Natalia Rose’s book, The Raw Food Detox Diet, is not difficult but introduces new flavours to some and requires a touch of artistry to break away from the predictable. It’s full of tasty enzymes and good-for-you nutrients, but is light and delicious and a beautiful dessert to serve loved ones! I used [...]
