Twists are AWESOME on the physical, emotional and mental levels! They are wonderful for digestion, and for moving lymph and blood through the body, improving elimination and circulation. They’re also great for spinal health, and practising twists regularly will relieve back and neck pain.. it has worked for me! Finally they stretch and free up the fascia of the torso and ribcage, enhancing lung capacity.
Because these are standing twists they will really work your thighs and butt, strengthening your legs which can’t be a bad thing!
Emotionally and mentally twists help to loosen the “knots” and stuck areas in our lives. Give these sequences a go and feel the release!
